RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR REOPENING ON SATURDAY 4TH JULY- MEMBERS ONLY
We are pleased to announce that we will be open for business from Saturday 4th July from 12:00. However, the only way we can open safely and in compliance with current government regulations and laws, is with a number of restrictions and procedures that MUST be followed. After reviewing the current guidelines and consulting with our Industry advisers, we have created a risk assessment document with practices and procedures that we will be following to help keep us and you safe.
For the foreseeable future, your experience at Osbaldwick Sports Club will be different to what you are used to, we ask that you use common sense in all cases and have patience, we are trying our best. So, here are the new procedures and processes that we are putting in place
On arrival-You must queue at the front doors- socially distance markings will be in place. We cannot take table bookings. A member of staff will take your temperature and details. You must give your details- this is the law to allow track and trace if there is an outbreak.
You will be allocated a table. You can have a table up to a maximum of 6 but your party must arrive within 30 minutes of each other and must follow Government guidelines. You must use hand sanitizer upon entry.
All drinks orders must be placed by text to 07425 335456 once you are seated. When your order is ready your number will be called, you will collect and pay for your drinks from a designated Bar hatch- card payment if preferable (our minimum amount has been dropped) , however, we will accept cash
There will be no queuing or service at the bar.
You will not be allowed to mingle with other tables, or loiter around inside
Children are allowed but they must always remain seated and fully supervised.
There will be a one-way system for using the toilet, and exiting through the side emergency exit door
If all our tables are taken, we invite you to sit outside. Once again drink orders must be placed by text to 07425 335456. We also require the names and contact number of everyone in your group. However, note if it rains, we can only let you into the club if there are free tables inside- no waiting inside.
If you are on the field, as long as you are all 2 metres apart you can be as big a group as you need.
Non Members can take out membership but this will not be validated until at least 2 working days.
This is far from normal service, waiting times will be longer. We have to work within the confines that have been laid out. These procedures are in place to protect all our staff and customers, and to mitigate the risk of the virus. If these measures are not adhered to, you will be asked to leave, and your membership will be revoked. Please be aware we are only allowed to open if these procedures are followed. Have patience and hopefully we can all enjoy ourselves. Sorry in advance if you get bored or take offence at our repeated reminders to follow the new procedures. Finally, please be respectful and friendly to our staff and each other. Stay Safe.
Thanks,
Committee of Osbaldwick Sports Club
